Here’s my no-fail Gulab Jamun Recipe

Ingredients:
Dough
- 3 cups of Nido (milk powder)
- 8 tbsp of Ghee
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of All Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp of baking powder
Chashni (sugar syrup)
- 4 cups water
- 6 cups sugar
- a couple drops of fresh lemon juice
- 5 cardamom pods
- a pinch of saffron
Recipe
- Mix the water and sugar in a large pot and set it on the stove at medium heat. Heat the mixture until it is slightly sticky
- Mix the Nido, Ghee, and milk in a bowl. These are the wet ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, mix the all purpose flour and baking powder. These are the dry ingredients.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until it becomes dough.
- Knead the dough thoroughly until it is soft.
- Make small balls with the dough and set them aside.
- Heat vegetable oil on the stove at medium heat. There should be enough oil for frying the gulab jamun.
- Fry the balls in small batches until golden brown, then immediately put them in the Chashni.
- Let them soak the Chashni for at least 10 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
